This very early Aroostook County River Home has come down to us from Nathaniel Churchill a loyalist, lumber entrepreneur, and first white settler to this area in the 1820's. You can expect a warm welcome at our 15 acre River Home.

Easily accessible from Route 1 just outside of Presque Isle, this 1839 House affords a quiet rural atmosphere with views and sounds of the Rum Rapids on the Aroostook River.

This Historic 1839 House is ideally situated for our guests to visit all the major tourist attractions in Northern Maine, Quebec and the Maritimes. The Bay of Chaleur, Fredericton, Prince Edward Island, Quebec City are quite close by.

Individually planned tours of points of interest can be arranged here in Northern Maine.

A full Scottish breakfast is provided and every attention to your needs will be offered.

Directions: take Rt. 1 North (Main Street) out of Presque Isle, cross Aroostook River Bridge, Take Route 164, your first left. Proceed west 5 miles as indicated on the map above.

In consideration of our non-smoking guests there is no smoking indoors. Weekly rates are available and arrangements can be made for special events and parties. Memorable Sunday afternoon high teas and candlelight dinners a specialty. Menu sent on request.
